The Children’s Advocacy Center of SW Florida (CAC) is a busy non-profit agency located in Fort Myers serving Lee, Charlotte, Hendry and Glades Counties. At CAC, we offer abuse determination services for children as well as therapeutic counseling, parenting education and prevention programs.
CAC is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time Receptionist. This position welcomes clients by greeting them in person or on the telephone; operating a multiline telephone system to answer incoming calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel, maintaining security by following procedures and protocol and by performing the following duties. Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.
General Responsibilities (full job description will be provided upon interview):
- Provides information to callers and directs calls to appropriate staff.
- Customer service to clients by answering telephone calls, providing appropriate information to callers and directing calls to appropriate staff.
- Greets and assists clients upon entry to the agency; checking them in and keeping staff advised of appointment arrival.
- Performs clerical duties such as composing correspondence, filing, opening and delivering mail, preparing outgoing mail, coordinating the delivery and pick up of packages, copying, organizing and maintaining filing systems.
- Maintain office supplies and order new supplies as needed.
- Performs data entry, and composes monthly/quarterly reports.
- Assists employees and management as needed.
- Provides other administrative support as assigned.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent
- Three months of clerical, customer service or closely related experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
